#### Education

Muskingum University - Bachelors, Mathematics, Economics#### Experience

I'm pursuing my economics and math degrees from Muskingum University, and I'm looking to become certified as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. I have experienced informal tutoring with college students, high school students, middle school students, and elementary school students in math. Everybody learns in their own unique way, so I help students through explanations, practicing problems, discussions, formulas, and others. I can use visual tools, hands-on activities, and more based on the preferred learning style of my student. My strategy is to identify where students need help through assessment, fill in any gaps in previous learning, and then work in a cumulative and logical way to add on more understanding. I will discuss real world applications and other adjusting things to keep students engaged. Then, I will guide students along the path of problem solving without giving answers away so that students can find correct answers independently. Math is a subject where simple ideas build on top of each other to accomplish complex things, so I believe this approach is the most effective way to master it. In my free time, I enjoy playing the saxophone, exercising, playing video games, and traveling.#### Hobbies

Saxophone, Working Out, Video Games, Traveling#### Preferred Subjects

Algebra, Algebra 2, Calculus, College Algebra, Discrete Math, Economics, Geometry, Math, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry
